My work explores moments in time imprinted into core
memory, fueled by nature and the garden. Drenched with color,
light, and joy, in hopes the viewer can feel that moment deeply.
I love the use of acrylic, watercolors, and metallics, and
complete most of my work by custom framing using reclaimed
materials.
Painting has been a healing, self-taught journey. After the loss
of both of my parents in my thirties, life stopped, and I soon
realized how flowers and nature helped to heal my heart. Going
slow and noticing every detail of the light, colors, beauty, and
composition keeps me curious and coming back for more.

I grew up in Duluth/Northern MN where much of my
inspiration and influence comes from. I have lived in
Maple Grove since 2005, raising our daughter Liv and
son Carter, with husband Ben. Before starting my art
business Lime Street Creative + Co in 2022 I worked in
corporate IT for over 15 years. Currently, I teach art
classes in Maple Grove and Plymouth, serve on the
Plymouth Arts Council board, am a freelance writer &
content creator for Northern Gardener Magazine, a
Hennepin County Master Gardener, and entrepreneur.
