Sculpting the earth with my hands and painting with plants throughout our suburban gardens is one of my biggest sources of healing, of inspiration, and pride.  I love how every year the garden, the season, the weather, the plan, is different and it humbles us.  After nearly 16 years of being a 'heavy duty' gardener I've come to love it deeply and share all of the gifts of the garden, especially with our neighbors!

As part of my business I offer seasonal container installations, small-medium sized landscaping jobs, and garden consultations.

I decided to become a Master Gardener Volunteer through the University of Minnesota Extension. My love for plants, gardening, and talking about plants and gardening made the MG program the right fit!  This volunteer position allows me to expand my knowledge of plants and help others connect and learn more about gardening too.

Also In 2023 I decided to use some of my skills as a 'woodworker' and craft a 'Giving Garden Cart'.  The spirit of this cart is to share our harvest bounty and simply to spread joy.  We are fortunate to have the space and time to garden, and let's be real...one family can only consume so much zucchini...LOL.  But before that, picking flowers to share with strangers gave me so much joy.  Pausing to extend gratitude, joy and beauty in a world that can be so hard (especially during COVID).  That evolved into more flowers, less strangers, and more friends.  Friends who kept walking by with words of love, gratitude and encouragement to KEEP GOING! Or IT'S BEAUTIFUL!  From there came the 'Giving Garden Cart'.  This cart made up of all sorts of different forgotten materials is part of the heartbeat of who I am.  A blend of- sharing + creativity + paint + wood + repurposed items + picking flowers + the love of our neighbors + educating people = The Giving Garden Cart
